We are currently seeking experienced Boilermakers / Welders for upcoming residential and light fabrication projects across Perth. This position starts on a casual basis, with the potential to move into full-time employment for the right candidate.

THE ROLE

As a Boilermaker/Welder, you’ll be responsible for performing fabrication and welding tasks on-site and in workshop settings. You’ll ensure all work meets high-quality and safety standards while contributing to the timely completion of residential projects.

Your duties may include:

  • Fabricating, assembling, and repairing structural steel and metal components

  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints

  • Performing MIG, TIG, and stick welding as required

  • Cutting, shaping, and fitting metal parts to specification

  • Conducting inspections and ensuring weld quality and compliance

  • Following WHS procedures and maintaining a clean, safe work environment

ABOUT YOU

You take pride in your workmanship, work well in a team, and demonstrate a strong understanding of fabrication safety practices.

Essential Requirements:

  • Relevant trade qualification (Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication or equivalent)

  • Demonstrated experience as a Boilermaker or Welder (residential or structural)

  • Valid Working at Heights and Confined Spaces tickets

  • White Card

  • Own transport and tools

  • Reliability, attention to detail, and a positive work ethic

  • Full Australian work rights

Desirable:

  • Welding certifications (AS/NZS 1554)

  • Experience in light fabrication or site installation

  • Monday to Friday work (occasional Saturdays at higher rate)
