We are currently seeking experienced Drill Fitters to support our clients across multiple FIFO and residential locations throughout Western Australia. These roles start on a casual basis with competitive casual rates, fortnightly pay, and the opportunity for ongoing work depending on performance and client requirements.

THE ROLE

As a Drill (Drill Rig) Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and supporting a range of blast hole and exploration drill rigs. This includes diagnostics, hydraulic work, component change outs, and field service support across various mine sites.

Your duties may include:

• Servicing, repairing, and maintaining drill rigs
• Diagnostics and troubleshooting of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• Performing inspections and identifying worn or faulty components
• Testing and adjustments after repairs to ensure safe operation
• Breakdown support and field service work as required
• Following WHS procedures and maintaining a clean and safe workspace

ABOUT YOU

You bring solid drill maintenance experience, a strong understanding of hydraulic systems, and a safety-first approach.

Essential Requirements:
• Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel or Mechanical Fitting
• Demonstrated experience on drill rigs (Rotary, DTH, Top Hammer or similar)
• Strong diagnostics skills across hydraulic and mechanical systems
• Manual driver’s licence
• White Card
• Ability to pass site medicals and D&A if required
• Reliable transport and consistent work ethic
• Full Australian work rights

Desirable:
• Experience on rigs such as Atlas Copco, Sandvik, Epiroc, Tamrock or similar
• Previous FIFO experience
• High Risk Work Licence
